2025-2026 Lotteries for Kindergarten

Stephen N. Adubato Campus will be run on February 25, 2025 and Jackie Robinson Campus will be run on February 26, 2025

Deadline to apply is on January 24, 2025

All applicants will receive individualized results via email within 5 days of the lottery date.

Kindergarten openings are assigned first to eligible siblings of existing students at each campus; then the remaining openings are filled through the lottery process. After the classes are filled waiting lists will be formed each year when we hold our lotteries.  In accordance with NJ Department of Education regulations, these lists expire at the end of each school year.  Parents must reapply for the next grade if they are still interested in Robert Treat Academy. Once you have applied, you may call 973-482-8811 to update information on your application.

*You may only apply to ONE Campus.

If you are unable to apply on-line paper applications can be obtained at the Academy or by clicking the links below.  You may drop them off at either campus.

 All children who have complete applications will be entered in the online lotteries which are supervised by a certified public accounting firm.

Community Parent Information Meetings

Upon applying for the Kindergarten lotteries you will be directed to reserve a seat at one of the Kindergarten parent information meetings within the application portal. Should you not wish to apply, you may register to attend one of the meetings at the link below.

Robert Treat Academy will host a series of two (2) meetings for Newark families interested in applying for enrollment for their kindergarten aged children for the 2025-2026 school year. 

Children must be five years old on or before October 1, 2025.
