ABOUT THE STAFF......
Lead Teacher, John Feinstein, co-share the responsibility of teaching Language Arts/Literacy in the sixth grade. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in Communication from New Jersey Cit University and received his Alternate Route teacher training for certification through Montclair University. Prior to joining the Robert Treat Academy Staff in 2003, Mr. Feinstein was a writer and editor of corporate communications, most recently for AT&T. He is the founding coach of the RTA debate team and is anadvisor for the student newsletter club. When not in the classroom, Mr. Feinstein spends time golfing, sailing, and playing the guitar.

Team Teacher, Ms. Lisa Quinlan joined the staff of Robert Treat Academy in 2001. Ms. Quinlan holds a Standard New Jersey Teaching Certificate for grades Kindergarten through eight. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Liberal Arts/Communications and a Masters of Arts in Education. Ms. Quinlan has been teaching for more than 15 years in a variety of school systems.
