ABOUT THE STAFF......
Ms. Burgos is the Lead Teacher in the Literacy/Language Department.. Ms. Burgos joined the Academy's faculty in 2006. She is a Certified Elementary School Teacher with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from Kean University. Ms. Burgos is an avid reader who also enjoys traveling.

Denis Peguero, Teacher Assistant in Room 207, joined the Robert Treat Academy staff in 2007. He earned a B.A. in Business Administration in Sport's Management. Mr. Peguero, a graduate of New Jersey City University, has worked with children in several capacities including 7 years as a camp counselor and 2 years as an assistant kindergarten teacher. After school, he coaches the RTA Patriots, our boy's basketball team, and enjoys his hobbies - baseball, football, basketball and coaching. For the last ten years he has been coaching little league baseball for the North Ward Center.
