Choral Music Teacher Veronica Heinlein Wood who has been on the faculty of Robert Treat Academy since 2000. Prior to joining us, she taught music to middle school students in Bloomfield, NJ. Ms. Heinlein holds a B.A. degree in Music from William Paterson University and a Masters in Organ Performance from Yale University. She is a Certified of Music for grades Kindergarten through five. Ms. Heinlein also serves as the Academy's Choral Director. The Robert Treat Academy Chorus has performed at many venues over the last several years including performances at Newark City Hall, the Essex County Hall of Records and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.

Music Teachers Reynaldo Jorge and Michael Vinas provide instruction in instrumental music. Mr. Jorge teaches brass, woodwind, percussion and stringed instruments to students in grades three through eight. Mr. Vinas' assignment includes responsibility for our computerized piano laboratory where students learn to write and record music on networked keyboards.
