ABOUT THE STAFF......
Ms. Burgos is the Lead Teacher in the Literacy/Language Department.. Ms. Burgos joined the Academy's faculty in 2006. She is a Certified Elementary School Teacher with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from Kean University. Ms. Burgos is an avid reader who also enjoys traveling.

Mrs. Melissa Harris is currently enrolled in the Provisional Teaching Program and holds a Certificate of Eligibility for grades K-8. She's a graduated of Howard University with a Journalism degree and spent more than a dozen years working in publishing as a magazine editor and freelance writer. Mrs. Harris also work as a publicist for a number of years before deciding to pursue her desire to teach middle schoolers. Shas previously don substitute teaching in another district.
